When Luffy is fleeing the Logue Town Arc, he intervenes to save him from getting taken by Smoker. Some fans believe that Dragon was also responsible for the lightning that saved Luffy from execution. 2. Zoro Vs. 100 Bounty Hunters
One of the biggest scenes that made fans fall in love with Zoro was his fight with 100 bounty hunters, where he emerged victorious. Every entry into the straw hats crew is a valuable moment for One Piece fans. Alabasata saga witnesses Chopper’s inclusion in the crew during the Drum Island arc. Tony Tony Chopper is a reindeer who ate the Human-Human Fruit. The chopper can transform into a variety of human-reindeer hybrid forms. Because of past traumas, Chopper is initially cautious of people. Luffy’s obvious kindness, as well as the crew’s actual need for a doctor, eventually wins him over.
4. Luffy’s Near-Execution
The Straw Hat Crew enters Logue Town, the birthplace and execution site of the legendary pirate Gol D. Roger, they find themselves in a tough situation when Luffy decides to stand on the platform of Roger’s execution and announce his goal to be the king of the pirates. Cabaji ambushes Luffy on the platform and shackles him, as Buggy’s pirates take over the town square. Buggy claims that this is the execution of Luffy. As he is about to execute Luffy, a bolt of lightning hits the platform, resulting in the escape of Luffy. This is one of the biggest scenes of the Logue town arc.
5. Reunion of Ace and Luffy
One of the most touching scenes in the story is when Luffy reunites with his brother, Portgas D. Ace, during the Alabasta Arc. Ace’s entry is for sure one of the best moments in One Piece history, and his inclusion in the live-action will surely result in fans going crazy, because not only is he Luffy’s brother, but also a member of Whitebeard Pirates and the son of Gol D. Roger.
6. Luffy Vs Crocodile
The main climatic scene of the entire season would be the fight between Luffy and Crocodile. Their battle takes place amid the ancient ruins beneath the city of Alubarna, where Crocodile seeks control of a formidable weapon. The fight is heated, with both straining their powers to the maximum. Luffy’s unbreakable attitude and newfound approach prove decisive. 7. The Entry of Dorry and Brogy the Giants
One of the most unorthodox and epic scenes of season 2 could be the introduction of giants in the series. This happens in the Little Garden arc of the Alabasta Saga. The Straw Hat Crew meets Dorry and Brogy, two giant warriors who have been at odds for almost a century. Their duel is a question of honor, sparked by a disagreement over the size of the sea monsters they both caught on the same day.
