One Piece live-action adaptation by Netflix is enjoying massive success with its first season and fans are eagerly waiting for the second season amid rumors of the script completion for the next step of the series. The second season according to sources focuses on the Alabasta Saga, featuring some of the most important characters like Nico Robin, Chopper, Crocodile, Dragon, and more.
Therefore the creators may have to work harder this time because this season would probably be the most crucial one. Every storyline needs to be perfect and on point. Here are some of the storylines or segments that the Netflix Live Action Series must adapt in the future for the second season.
1. Introduction of Nico Robin and Crocodile
Nico Robin and Crocodile are introduced in the Alabasta Saga as the main antagonists. The saga gets developed to reach the climax of Luffy and Crocodile in a duel and Robin joining the straw hat crew. Both the characters are very important for the present and the future of the series as both have major roles to play in the further part of the story. Fans expect their introduction and their main scenes to be developed properly and have enough detail for the story to move forward.
2. Luffy and Ace Reunion
Portgas D. Ace is one of the most important characters of the entire anime and manga series, because not only he is the brother of Luffy, but also the son of former Pirate King Gol D. Roger. He holds great importance for the storyline of the series and particularly the Alabasta Saga, as he is introduced in the series and the bond between him and Luffy is unraveled in front of the viewers. Furthermore, his character holds great importance as he is the main character of the Marineford arc which is one of the most important arcs of the entire One Piece manga and series.
3. Introduction and Story of Tony Tony Chopper
Tony Tony Chopper who is another member of the Straw Hats is introduced during the drum island arc of the Alabasta Saga. His story is of great importance as it is one of the most emotional stories of the entire One Piece series. Additionally, Chopper is a reindeer who eats the Human Human Fruit, therefore the VFX and casting of the character hold great importance for the future of One Piece Live-Action Adaptation.
4. Zoro vs. 100 Baroque Work Bounty Hunters
Zoro’s fight scenes and their development are always fun and exciting for the anime and manga fans as he is one of the strongest characters in the series. One of his biggest fights in the entire manga is the battle with 100 Baroque Work Bounty Hunters where he can defeat these people, showing his monstrous strength and power. During the Whisky Peak storyline, when the straw hat crew falls asleep after a night of partying, Zoro discovers that the entire island is populated by Bounty hunters working for Baroque Works, resulting in an all-out battle between him and those 100 individuals.
5. The Glimpse of Monkey D. Dragon
In the first season, the biggest modification that the creators did was introducing Garp, Luffy’s grandfather, and developing a storyline around him. This has got the fans excited about the introduction and the storyline of Monkey D. Dragon, the father of Luffy. If the story is modified the fans would surely want more screentime from Dragon and would love to see how the creators develop an interesting storyline around him.
6. Luffy vs. Crocodile climax
Luffy and Crocodile’s battle is the biggest fight scene in the series. The story developed in the entire saga leads up to this fight scene which makes it the most important storyline of the entire Saga. The story is perfectly created by Oda san himself, and fans are eagerly waiting to see how Netflix will forge this story in their own way. Just like Arlong and Luffy’s battle, the Crocodile vs. Luffy showdown needs to be top of the class to gain love from One Piece fans and enthusiasts.
