SPOILERS FOR BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER AND BLACK ADAM
Many will remember all the fuss about the ending of DC’s Black Adam. Technically it’s a post-credits scene, which was rumored to have featured a cameo from DC’s flagship superhero, Superman, with Henry Cavill reprising the role. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever might just be Marvel’s reply to all the hype surrounding Cavill’s return as Superman.
Wakanda Forever is shaping up to be a worthy successor to 2018’s Black Panther, with all the visual effects and hype surrounding a possible second Black Panther in place. But as some fresh reports might suggest, fans might be getting much more than they ever expected, as an iconic Marvel villain is speculated to feature in the movie’s post-credits scene.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Might Feature Iconic Marvel Villain
The age of post-credits scenes is very well upon us and has been so ever since Nick Fury had the Avengers talk with Tony Stark at the end of Iron Man way back in 2008. Although the first use of a post-credits scene in a Marvel movie goes to 2003’s Daredevil.
Fans have been treated to multiple uses of the post-credits scene in almost every Marvel movie ever since, and it has been successful because it generates a lot of hype for what’s about to come in future projects.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is Marvel’s last theatrical release for this year, and it will be following the trend, as the custom is. It will do the honors, but it’s reported that it will do so by introducing a character known by many but one who has never made their debut in the MCU.
The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit was at the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever just a day ago. He reports that the movie received quite the applause and a wide range of other emotions during the screening from fans.
Following up on his tweet, Kit would later post this-
The second tweet is in line with various reports and rumors regarding the debut of the iconic Marvel villain Doctor Doom in the MCU, which has been said to happen in the post-credits scene of Wakanda Forever.
Could this very well be the time when fans get to finally see Doctor Doom in the MCU? It would only make sense since fellow X-Men character Wolverine is also making his debut in the franchise with a role in the upcoming Deadpool 3 movie as well.
Reactions To Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Are Very Positive
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is finally out, at least for those who were at the premiere just two days ago, and fans couldn’t be any more excited to watch it in theaters. The four-year wait was quite a long time as the success of the first movie made most fans relentless.
The movie will sadly not feature the original actor for T’Challa, Chadwick Boseman, who passed away unexpectedly in 2020 from colon cancer.
But it does feature the long-awaited comeback of Rihanna with a solo single since 2016, and even better, it’s a tribute to Boseman.
All this combined with the hype of the first movie has brought in the first reactions for Wakanda Forever, and they’re all thrilled.
