Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have had a long history together. The 2 stars who were once engaged in 2002, broke up and moved on to other partners before reuniting in a whirlwind romance after almost 20 years. Affleck and Lopez tied the knot in 2022 in a low-key ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Argo star and the Get on the Floor singer have previously worked together professionally in 2003 in the film Gigli, which did not fare well with critics and audiences. Now, as husband and wife, the couple has some exciting projects in store together. But Ben Affleck confessed that it was a tough task pleasing his perfectionist wife.
“House-Hunting Is a Terror With Jen”, Confesses Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are taking their marital relationship to the next level by extensively looking to buy their dream house together. The couple has been spotted multiple times in their house-hunting pursuits in the Los Angeles area, looking for good properties to invest in. But the process is a tedious one for Ben Affleck, who cannot keep up with his wife’s high standards. According to an inside source, they seem to be at loggerheads deciding on which home to buy.
“Finding something absolutely perfect has become an obsession and it’s made the whole process a nightmare. Ben just wants her to choose a place and stick to it, but she’s not having any of it.”
The source further stated that Jennifer Lopez took perfectionism to the next level in her search for the ideal fairy tale home befitting their status in Hollywood. The Enough star almost confirmed a 34 million-dollar property in Pacific Palisades but put it on hold to consider other locations as well. Ben Affleck has been waiting for his wife to make the all-important decision as quickly as possible so that he could then concentrate on his professional commitments.
Bennifer Will Be Seen On Screen After 20 Years
Apart from their personal adventures, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez will also share professional screen space after 2 decades. The couple will star together in Unstoppable, a sports drama that follows the story of Anthony Robles, a wrestler born with one leg who won a national championship at Arizona State University. The film will be produced by Affleck’s production company Artists Equity, which he started with his long-time friend and co-actor, Matt Damon.
The film will mark the directorial debut of Oscar-winning editor William Goldberg, who worked on Affleck’s directorial Argo, as well as films like Zero Dark Thirty. While Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s chemistry in 2003’s Gigli did not impress audiences, it will be interesting to see the two stars, now married, working together after a long hiatus.
