Fans want Ke Huy Quan to carry Harrison Ford’s legacy as Indiana Jones forward

It seems that instead of another mainstream Hollywood celebrity, fans have voiced their opinion to see the Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan carry Ford’s legacy forward. Considering that the actor’s career started alongside working with Ford in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, it’s understandable why fans would want Quan as the next adventurous archeologist after Ford.

 

Although it isn’t confirmed whether the franchise will move forward without Harrison Ford, it seems that Ford wouldn’t mind the inclusion of Quan, considering his love and respect for Ke Huy Quan.

Harrison Ford expressed his happiness for Ke Huy Quan’s success

Despite not crossing paths in about 3 decades, Harrison Ford still didn’t fail to recognize his fellow Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom co-star.  The duo also shared a heartfelt moment at the Oscars as Quan hugged his former co-star after Ford announced Everything Everywhere All at Once as the winner of Best Picture. The Star Wars actor also didn’t back away from expressing his respect and appreciation for The Goonies actor on several occasions. He said,

I’m so happy for him. He’s a great guy. He’s a wonderful actor. He was when he was a little kid, and he still is. I’m glad. I’m very happy for him. He is terrific in his movie. And I’m so glad to see him…and what he has become. I’m so happy for him. He’s such a happy guy, too.”
