Being a part of the Marvel Universe is something that is very beneficial for an actor. Not just fame, it also generates a lot of income. For a very long time, actor Hugh Jackman has played the role of Logan/Wolverine. He has starred in several blockbuster hits but this is undoubtedly one of his most iconic roles.
Over the years, many actors have been trying to bag the role of Wolverine including, actor Pablo Schreiber, who is well-known for playing John-117/Master Chief in the Halo (2022) TV series. Last year, the actor explained that he has tried to join the MCU on multiple occasions.
Pablo Schreiber revealed that he wanted to join the MCU
In March 2022, actor Pablo Schreiber appeared on The Playlist’s Bingeworthy podcast and revealed that he had discussions with Marvel Studios about his introduction to the MCU,
“You know I’ve seen things pop up a lot. I’ve had a bunch of discussions with Marvel at different points in my career. We’ve never been able to find the right thing at the right time, but I’d certainly be open to that. But yeah it’s just staying open to the right path and I don’t know exactly what that is, but I’ll know it when I see it.”
The actor is well-known for playing John-117/Master Chief in Halo (2022) TV series. The show is based on the video game franchise of the same name.
The actor explained that he wanted to play Wolverine
Further in the interview, Schreiber was asked if he would be interested in playing Wolverine. He then called it his “dream casting,”
“Oh goodness yeah, well we flirted with that one for a while. That’d be fantastic, that would certainly be a dream casting. He’s actually my favorite hero, from a child he was always my favorite comic book. So I’ve had a long flirtation with that guy, so you know obviously that’d be a dream.”
The actor further added that he isn’t putting “eggs in any baskets” as he is open to playing any role in the franchise.

Schreiber is well-known for his compelling performances in both film and television. He began his career in theater, showcasing his skills on stage before transitioning to onscreen work. In the 2000s, the actor gained a lot of recognition thanks to his role as Nick Sobotka in The Wire (2003-2008) TV series.
