The most anticipated anime live-action adaptation, One Piece, has been released on Netflix and it surely has surprised the fans. The series created by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda focuses on the adventures of a young pirate named Monkey D. Luffy who wants to become the king of the pirates by finding the treasure of Gol D. Rodger the “One Piece“. Along with him, his crewmates – Zoro, Nami, Sanji, and Usopp help him in achieving his dream. The cast of the series includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Emily Rudd as Nami, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

The Anime That Impacted the Life of Emily Rudd

In an interview with Netflix Geeked, Emily Rudd shared her experience of working as Nami in the One Piece Live Action Adaptation. She also talked about how anime has affected her life and helped her in developing her into who she is today. She has an extensive history with all things anime and manga, and the actress grew up on Pokémon, Dragon Ball Z, and other Japanese titles. Rudd says she’s rereading One Piece and watching the immensely famous Demon Slayer, and she’s always on the hunt for new anime. But the one anime that has impacted most on her life is Sailor Moon, which is a widely popular anime in the US and Canada.
