Insomniac Games has finally announced the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game for the PlayStation 5. The title will be a sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018) and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020). The game which is said to have been created specially for the PS5 console, will reportedly have many upgrades including more complex visuals, faster web swinging, and near-instant character switching.
Spider-Man 2 will also see the return of two iconic Marvel villains, Venom and Lizard. But the news that is now creating a big stir is with regard to a main Spider-Man character who is rumored to play Venom.
Will MJ Be Venom? Netizens React
The brand new PS5 game Spider-Man 2 is all set to enthrall gamers with new and exciting features to take the game to the next level. But one piece of rumored information that is causing quite a buzz online is that MJ will allegedly become one of the iconic Marvel villains Venom in this version of the game. While none of this has been made official yet, netizens are already reacting to these claims online. While some found it a rather extreme assumption and did not favor it, others were open to seeing MJ embrace being an antagonist.
With October still being a few months away, Spider-Man 2 is already creating a lot of hype with these speculations and it remains to be seen if these claims about MJ’s character ring true.

What To Expect From Spider-Man 2 on PS5
The highly anticipated Spider-man 2 game has finally got a release date and comes with many new and exciting features. In the game, players will get to experience Marvel’s New York as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales.The main storyline of the game will allow users to take control of both Spider-Man characters at different points of the campaign. In the open world, players will be able to explore Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.
In addition, both Spider-Man characters have stories and missions in the world that are exclusive to each of them. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will offer both superheroes new powers and abilities, Peter Parker with the symbiote and Miles Morales with his evolved bioelectric Venom powers. The game for Playstation 5 will released on October 20th but can be pre-ordered anytime after the 16th of June.
