Popularly known for portraying the lead in the sci-fi franchise, The Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger made his Hollywood debut with the 1970 film Hercules in New York. He has had a prosperous acting career since his first film and he even made a name for himself as a businessman and a politician. However, long before his on-screen debut, he had an impressive bodybuilding career, and he also went on to compete in Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting contests.
He has also been associated with Special Olympics for years, founded by his ex-mother-in-law Eunice Kennedy Shriver. And considering his dedication to the foundation, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the Predator star hunted down the internet troll who said something nonsense about Special Olympics.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Called Out An Internet Troll
In 2017 Arnold Schwarzenegger shared a short clip of athletes of the Special Olympics from the 2017 World Winter Games. The short clip featured the actor with the winners, and he shared the video with a caption saying, “These guys inspire me!”
While the video was loved by many, and people shared positive and encouraging remarks, one user did not find the video very pleasing. He criticized the Special Olympics and the athletes in the comments. The Total Recall star took responsibility and called out the user.
He called his comment “stupid and evil” as he told him that the athletes have “more courage, compassion, brains, skill” and “every positive human quality” than the troll.
Schwarzenegger also advised the internet troll to learn something from the athletes and to challenge themselves, as “no one will ever remember [them]” for making such comments. The original comment, along with the actor’s response, has since been deleted from social media.
Arnold Schwarzenegger to Return to Action
Arnold Schwarzenegger is all set for his on-screen return with the spy-adventure series Fubar as a CIA operative. The series follows a father-daughter CIA duo who discover their real job when the father is assigned his last mission with his daughter, portrayed by the Top Gun: Maverick actor Monica Barbaro.
The eight-episode series will premiere next month on Netflix, bringing back the action star with a comic touch. The series is the first scripted television series to feature Schwarzenegger in a leading role. Talking about the show, the actor has said that the show is full of action and will make the audience laugh, not only for two hours but for a whole season.
Fubar is set to premiere on May 25 on Netflix.
