As per reports, the Man of Steel actor was struggling to work with the writers of the show as they frequently changed the script for the project, deviating from the original source material. This was the primary reason for Henry Cavill’s exit from the franchise, and as a fan of Andrzej Sapkowski’s work, he just couldn’t tolerate the injustice done to his work.

Liam Hemsworth Taking Over As Geralt of Rivia

The Witcher has earned quite a lot of fame over the years right after its release in 2019. The show has an extremely high audience rating and is also critically well-rated. The book series by Andrzej Sapkowski had its fair share of popularity, but its adaptation into a game and then into a tv series boosted it to completely new heights and became one of the most critically acclaimed shows on Netflix. Though the series was covered with controversies between the lead role and the crew, the recast of the lead was not among the expected scenarios.
