Fan-favorite Cypher often breaks fans’ hearts every time Riot Games releases a promo video by getting himself killed in the most cinematic way possible. Cypher’s one of the most loved characters by Valorant gamers for his wit and wisdom and has featured in almost every promo released so far. His cinematic deaths have also led to many streamers creating compilations, often counting his deaths in the most epic ways possible.
In a rare instance, however, in a recently released promo for a yet unreleased map, Cypher teams up with Deadlock, and together they tease a new location. Not much is known yet and the teaser seems to have garnered a lot of attention already as is usually the case with every new promo.
What To Expect From The Latest Battleground: A Look at Valorant’s New Map
Riot Games are known to usually introduce a new Valorant map with the release of every second episode. Lotus was released with the release of Episode 6, along with another old map, Split, at the same time. Agent Deadlock was released back in June this year, and now there’s a promo for another map that might be released later this month.
Details are quite thin at the moment with nothing much being revealed even with the new promo. The new promo is titled “No more hiding”, and shows Cypher and Deadlock taking a sneak peek behind the curtains of KINGDOM Corporation, stating it’s just the beginning.

Fans Relish Cypher Bosses The New Promo
All will be revealed come August 26th but what’s caught everyone’s attention even more is how Cypher is shown spying around and not caught in a cross-fire and sacrificing himself, per usual.
The new official promo video looks quite different with Cypher shown to be the one in control for once, and along with Deadlock, getting a glimpse at what looks like an LA map. Of course, the full teaser trailer is coming later this month which could still take a turn for the worse, for Cypher. As fans are usually treated to what’s termed as a brilliant promo or trailer every time, Cypher, unfortunately, ends up dead in the promo, somehow!
Deadlock is also seen spying behind the curtains with Cypher, which could suggest the new map could involve a lot of cameras with Cypher doing the job of an OverWatch.

Release Date For The Next Valorant Map
A lot of gamers have already seen similarities involving the new map shown in the glimpse with that of the map of L.A. Valorant regulars will remember another clue from the Episode Seven Act One Battle Pass, where a Player Card called the Golden Hour Player Card, which also showed a glimpse to the city of L.A. as the next location. Given the spying shown in the promo glimpse, gamers are also drawing conclusions that there could be new tech involved in the new map.
It wouldn’t be all that surprising to have more new features as most new maps have been revealed with unique features which were quite useful to that specific location. If Cypher does end up being the “OverWatch” in the new map, spying behind curtains and over the enemies, it could end up being quite interesting. Fans will now have to wait and watch what’s next in store when all will be revealed later this month.
As for now, the new promo has Valorant fans excited to see their all-time favorite, Cypher, in the seat and looking to cause some mayhem. If nothing much changes, the upcoming trailer for the new map could excite fans even more!
