Tom Cruise is back with his outstanding Mission: Impossible franchise which is among the highly anticipated projects of this summer. However, the new installment Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One is making headlines due to its new villain entry which absolutely will hack your brain codes.
Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One Introduces New Villain
Tom Cruise‘s Ethan Hunt is back for his seventh outing, Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning – Part One facing off against a next-level antagonist, which is not at all human. The Entity is introduced as the franchise’s ultimate villain who is an artificially intelligent creation that wreaks destruction across the globe.
Meanwhile, Esai Morales as Gabriel is the Entity’s agent of destruction who is the face behind every big blunder happening in the new film, absolutely under the big boss’s command. The Entity can create massive problems by imitating other people’s voices, predicting superfast logical output with enormous amounts of information, and much more.
Given that Gabriel has a personal history with Hunt, AI uses him to deal with the former since he is his biggest enemy. His capabilities are enough to state how powerful this AI is which makes many want to utilize his abilities but Cruise’s character is adamant about permanently wiping out its existence.
Fans Demand Henry Cavill’s Return After The Entity Fails to Entice Them
Despite Hunt’s engaging in major battles throughout the movie to stop the Entity, many felt unconvinced by AI addition in the film as it lacked the animosity which was instantly seen when Hunt saw Henry Cavill’s August Walker / John Lark in Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
One fan took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with The Entity stating how Cavill’s antagonist in the 2018 film was a great fit.
“DEAD RECKONING sets up all this backstory to pit Tom Cruise against the villain, but no amount of flashbacks can generate the primal animosity seen between Cruise and Henry Cavill in FALLOUT, where the characters meet for the first time and just f–king hate each other on sight.”
Soon after that, other fans reacted to that statement agreeing that Cavill’s antagonist version created an intense hostility that they felt was lacking in our AI baddie.

The new film features an ensemble cast including Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Mariela Garriga, and Henry Czerny.
