The official Twitter (now referred to as X) account of Netflix has unveiled the first look of Transponder Snails (Den Den Mushi) from the upcoming One Piece live-action series.
On August 24, Netflix posted two images of Transponder Snails. One of these images features Garp with his transponder snail positioned in front of him.
This revelation has prompted fans to be both excited and concerned about the decision to make them in such a realistic manner.

Den Den Mushi, also known as transponder snails holds a vital role in the One Piece universe. They serve as communication devices like telephones and other devices but with a distinctive twist. Transponder snails replicate the speaker’s facial expressions and voice, transmitting them to the recipient.
The released images showcase an incredibly realistic portrayal of these snails, featuring teeth and departing from their more cartoonish and cute look in the anime.
