Nicolas Cage also wants Nicholas Hoult to play the next James Bond
Nicolas Cage worked with Hoult in 2 movies, The Weather Man which was released in 2005, and the recently released movie Renfield. When the 59-year-old actor was asked if he would like to play the next James Bond, the Ghost Rider actor stated that he thinks any actor who plays the role of the spy in the Bond movie should be a British actor. Cage also came up with one name and it was his co-star Hoult. While talking about the 33-year-old actor, Cage said,
“I know a lot of British actors play a lot of the American superheroes like Batman and Superman, but I have respect for Bond. Any chance of Bond, for me, is long gone but I think Nicholas Hoult would be a great James Bond. I think he’d be perfect.”
