Therefore, to bring even more spice to his Fast and Furious spin-off film Hobbs and Shaw, Johnson wanted DCEU star Jason Momoa, who is known for playing Aquaman, as his character Luke Hobbs’ brother. He was even in talks with the star, who revealed it to the press on several occasions, but due to scheduling issues, this couldn’t become a reality. But Johnson promised that he was still interested in the plan, saying:

“Next Hobbs movie for sure.”

But before this could happen, Vin Diesel brought Momoa into the main Fast and Furious franchise as the maniacal antagonist of Fast X Dante Reyes.

If you thought that the last Fast and Furious films were pushing the boundaries of absolutely ridiculous set pieces and action sequences, then you’re in for a rude awakening. Fast X brings all the things that you loved about the original films, and then, extends them off a cliff. Exotic souped-up cars, crazy and disastrous situations, and Momoa’s insane depiction of the antagonist are some things that make this film a must-watch.
