But, as the surprising turn of events would have it, the elder Evans brother is as notorious off-screen as he is serious on-screen. This comes after his younger brother shared the story of when he got into a terrible accident because of the Captain America star, with the latter begging him to take the fall for it despite the grisly injury he bore.

Chris Evans and his younger brother Scott Evans have been a notorious duo since childhood, always pulling pranks and getting into trouble. But this one time, it might have gone a bit too far, considering the grisly injury the younger sibling got because of the elder one.

During a game on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Barbie actor was asked about one thing that his elder brother did while growing up that their parents are still unaware of. To this, he shared the story of when the Marvel actor cracked his head open by accident. He said,

“Okay. Well, something that he [did while growing up]? [Jimmy Fallon: Doesn’t have to involve you.] No, no, oh, this involves me. [Laughter] I wonder if they know about this. Growing up I was, God, I don’t even know how old I was. Like, maybe eight or nine. We were watching TV, and my friend Sam was over, watching TV. And my brother pushed me back into a coffee table, and I cracked my head open. And I ended up getting four stitches.”

Scott Evans further went on to reveal the details of the grotesque situation, also letting out how Chris Evans begged him not to tell their parents and take the fall for it.

“I remember, like, he pushed me against the table, and I hit it — And I had already cracked my head open once, and I was like, ‘No blood, no blood, no blood.’ And my hand — it was like a murder scene. It was like, ‘Ah, this is my dream job.’ And I was like, ‘Blood!’ And Chris was like, ‘Please don’t tell!’ And I just said that I fell, and I got stitches, and, Mom, he pushed me, so…”

One thing’s clear from this hilarious yet serious story – that the Evans brothers have each other’s backs in whatever situation – even if it involves splitting someone’s head open! Regardless of being accidental, of course.

While the story about the Fantastic Four star’s antics is kinda enough to surprise his fans, there’s something even more shocking – that Scott Evans is ‘so into murder’. Literally speaking, though there’s a bit of a twist here.

Sharing in the same episode of how he would’ve been a homicide detective or a criminologist had he not chosen acting as a career, the younger Evans brother told Jimmy Fallon,

“Well, I don’t know why. It’s just like, I’m so into murder. [Laughter] In, like, not a kinky way. This is incriminating. I tell my boyfriend all the time, I’m just like, ‘Listen, don’t ever get me mad because I can get away with it.'”

Thus, audiences, beware, for it turns out that both the Evans brothers have some notorious antics up their sleeves!
