Fans of Marvel films are known to enjoy seeing cameo appearances from their favorite heroes and villains, and it appears that Chris Evans’ upcoming action-adventure film Ghosted will feature numerous such appearances.
The man who once donned the shield himself confirmed the appearance of a slew of Marvel’s A-listers in a recent interview on Good Morning America.
The Cameo Craze
As a staple of the MCU, cameos are nothing new for Marvel’s devoted fan base. Finding surprises and Easter eggs in the Marvel universe is part of the fun. Fans of Chris Evans’s previous films can anticipate a similar experience with his upcoming film Ghosted but with some recognizable faces from the Marvel universe.

Chris Evans said on GMA that he hates asking for cameos but that a few of his Marvel co-stars were willing to appear in the film anyway.
“There are some cameos. That’s right. Can we give that away? I guess. Yeah, we had some old Marvel buddies back and I hate asking people for cameos. It’s the worst. Yeah, if it fits in their schedule, I suppose. But these guys, they rose to the challenge and they were there for me. It was great.”
The actor didn’t name names, but we can assume that anyone from major heroes and villains to more minor figures from the Marvel canon will be making cameos. Ghosted viewers are already speculating which Marvel heroes and heroines might appear.
Fans hope Evans’s best friend and fellow Avenger, Robert Downey Jr., will appear. Others have speculated that Scarlett Johansson, who recently made her last appearance as Black Widow in the Marvel movie, might make a cameo.
It has also been speculated that the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in Ghosted. The film’s action-adventure genre works well with the Guardians, known for their comedic and action-packed adventures.
Seeing as Tom Holland’s Spider-Man hasn’t appeared in any film that Marvel didn’t produce, fans are also hoping for a cameo from him. Fans must wait until the movie’s release to determine which Marvel stars will appear.
Chris Evans’ Return as Captain America
Fans look forward to the cameo appearances in Ghosted, but they still hope that Chris Evans will reprise his role as Captain America. Evans, who played the part for nearly a decade, has admitted his fondness for the part but also stated his reluctance to reprise the role.
It would be a shame to let the excitement of any possible Marvel cameos overshadow the movie’s plot. In Ghosted, played by Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, respectively, two con artists fall in love before setting out on a perilous mission.
Written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who worked on Deadpool and Zombieland, and directed by Dexter Fletcher, known for his work on Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody, There will be plenty of exciting scenes in this action-adventure film, and the chemistry between Evans and de Armas will undoubtedly give the movie a romantic undercurrent. The addition of possible Marvel cameos makes Ghosted an exciting film that fans won’t want to miss.
