Naruto is probably one of those anime that has helped the anime community to get world recognition. So when the last episode of the anime was released in 2017, fans were disappointed to see their favorite anime end. But later on, the creator of Naruto announced the release of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, which not only hyped up the fans but also built up high hopes as it was the successor of one of the greatest anime of all time.
As the series aired its initial episodes, fans could not connect with the series as they did with the first one, which resulted in the developing hate for the anime.
Many fans took to the internet and expressed their disappointment with the series. They expected great results from Boruto, but the animation, storyline, and concept were not quite up to the mark. Several Naruto fans have quit following the series since the conclusion of the original anime because they disliked Boruto’s animation.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ audience is therefore far lower than that of Naruto, indicating that people chose not to watch the anime. But recently a fighting clip of Boruto has gone viral, which has gathered all the Naruto fans and has somewhat changed their perspective.
