As we get closer and closer to the release of Mortal Kombat 1, we’re starting to get more exciting news about the iconic franchise’s next mainline entry. We only recently received news that Jean-Claude Van Damme would be a skin in the game, and now we’ve just gotten a look at the game’s trophy list, and it looks like a ton of fun.
Mortal Kombat games have been decently challenging to acquire Platinum trophies in the past, especially 2011’s Mortal Kombat, but now it seems NetherRealm Studios is streamlining the process a bit. If getting the Platinum trophy for one of the older games was a bit too challenging for you, this may be right up your alley.

What Makes This the Easiest Mortal Kombat Platinum?
There seem to be a lot of trophies that just come naturally from playing the game. Beating the main story or spending an hour in practice mode is stuff that most fighting game players already do. It does seem like a bit of a grind, albeit an easy one. Stuff like mastering 5 Kameo characters sounds time-consuming, and so does getting a score of 5,000,000 in Gateway Towers.
But none of this even comes close to MK9‘s excruciating My Kung Fu is Stronger trophy. For these reasons, Mortal Kombat 1 definitely has the easiest platinum in the franchise’s history.
But what do you think? Will you be trying to get the Platinum trophy for Mortal Kombat 1? Let us know in the comments!
