In a recent Twitter post, an easter egg has been discovered that hinted at Miles Morales in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. As per a fan, the Brazilian dub of the movie offered a conversation between Miles Morales, his mother Rio Morales, and his father Jefferson Davis, when Tom Holland takes his swing as Peter Parker!

As per fans, the translation of Portuguese to English goes something along the lines of Rio Morales wanting Miles Morales to pack his things and go to sleep while Jefferson Davis wants to take away his TV privileges.

Rio: “[Miles!] Come, love. Pack your things and go to sleep, okay? That’s it, pack up and go to sleep.”

Jeff: “Oh, if you don’t go to bed now, you’ll be without television for a month.”

After No Way Home, Sony’s animated magnum opus Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was recently released. But that wasn’t the first time that Miles Morales was mentioned in the MCU. The character has also been mentioned during the 2017 movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

During the 2017 movie when Tom Holland was just getting started as Spider-Man, the character of Miles Morales was already hinted. When Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and Donald Glover’s Aaron Davis meet, Glover clearly mentions that he has got a nephew.

“I don’t want those weapons in this neighborhood, I got a nephew who live here.”

And to jog up people’s memories, Miles Morales used to call “Uncle Aaron” whenever he got in trouble. He also went on to become the antagonist character of Prowler, but that is a tale for a different time.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is currently screening in theaters across the world.
