Continuing his hot streak of major roles in popular franchises, Oscar Isaac has once again struck gold as Sony Pictures has reportedly cast the actor in the upcoming movie adaptation of Metal Gear Solid. Created by Hideo Kojima and published by Konami, Metal Gear Solid is set to be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and is produced by Sony Pictures.

As one of the most sought after actors in the industry right now, Oscar Isaac has been a part of numerous multi-billion dollar franchises over the past years. As reported by Deadline, the Metal Gear Solid movie is being produced by Avi Arad while the principal screenwriter attached to the project is Derek Connolly. Conolly is best known for his works on major blockbusters like Kong: Skull Island, Jurassic World, Pokemon Detective Pikachu, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The movie is being overseen by Peter Kang.
