Marvel Cinematic Universe built an empire of blockbuster movies that shattered box offices and gained a solid and loyal MCU fan base all across the world. From its first launch in 2008 until the recent ones this year, there is no stopping Marvel from creating more films, heroes, and stories that resonate with everyone.
While we have ensemble movies like The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, there are solo movies that are equally epic. These MCU solo movies have so much rewatch value that fans can revisit from time to time:
Captain Marvel (2019)
What’s special about Captain Marvel is the impression she left on people after they watched the movie. Everyone believed that she can take Thanos down alone with her cosmic superpowers. No doubt she is known as the strongest and most powerful Avenger.

Ant-Man (2015)
Ant-Man can easily pass as a pick-me-upper Marvel film because of its many comedic scenes. The story is engaging and overall entertaining – there is never a dull moment especially when Luis starts his epic narration with utmost certainty and accuracy.
It is an extremely fun origin tale of how Ant-Man came to be, and the visual effects truly captured the ambiance of what it is like to get trapped in the quantum realm. Ant-Man is absolutely a must-rewatch MCU solo movie.
Black Panther (2018)
The hype and appreciation for MCU’s Black Panther is truly an outstanding feat for the people behind this incredible film. The entire story inspired many audiences, and it shook things up in the world of Hollywood films as the first superhero movie with an African actor as the lead and the first to star a majority of Black cast.
The film also received an Academy Awards nomination for Best Picture. The visual effects and cinematography of Black Panther are unparalleled. Indeed, it is a movie worth repeating to watch on screens.
Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Taika Waititi’s fun and vibrant take on the third installment of Thor is something fans did not expect. All the more when the most powerful of the Asgardians, Hela, is finally introduced. That one scene when she stopped the Mjolnir only to crush it to pieces is always a spectacular sight.
It’s a feast for the eyes with all the magical illusions and spellbinding fight scenes. It was also a great debut for Valkyrie.
Iron Man (2008)
It’s always good to come back to where everything started, and that is why Iron Man remains the most rewatchable solo movie. The superhero that launched Marvel’s success paved the way for the rest of the MCU films we have today.
The fact that it was not planned to be something as grand as it is now only proved that taking risk always pays off in the end. Plus, Tony Stark’s improvised line at the end of the movie is always worth watching.
