But although he may be able to do most of the things, fighting in films is not his forte, which is why he takes the help of his stuntmen. In a past interview with James Corden on his talk show, The Martian star was asked by the host about this curious deal of his that he heard the star made with his stuntmen. Here, Damon complied, talking about how he has this deal with them, which states that every time he accidentally hits any of the stuntmen in the face, he would buy them a bottle of champagne as an apology. He also revealed that in the first Bourne film alone, he owed 12 bottles to the stuntman that he was shooting with. He also revealed that not everyone is on board with this deal, especially other film stars. He said:

“In this one, I fight Vincent Cassel, the great French actor. Vincent, who’s a very talented martial artist also, but he had no interest in my champagne. He was like ‘Matt, just do not hit me in the face'”

He also makes sure that he doesn’t just go hitting them even by accident, not because he doesn’t want to give out bottles of champagne, but so that no one gets badly hurt around him.
