Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Both on Sale Ahead of Sequel Release – Grab a BARGAIN

Ahead of PlayStation’s most anticipated release of the year in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, both Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales are on sale, allowing those who haven’t experienced the games to get up-to-date ready for the launch. Now as it stands this is just a Steam sale, but as before in previous months, both of these will no doubt go on sale in the PlayStation Store, so don’t fret.

The Steam sale seems to always be on, allowing gamers around the world to grab games at a fraction of the price they normally are, resulting in all of us having gigantic Steam catalogues and a backlog we’ll never catch up on. First world problem right there.

We all doubt there’s anyone interested in these two (soon to be three) games that don’t have a passing knowledge of them, but just in case… Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is the 2020 remake of the 2018 smash hit of the same name – minus the remastered, obviously – and in the same year the spin-off/follow-up, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was also released. Both games were hugely popular, both with fans and critics alike, and anticipation for the sequel’s release is growing every day, and there isn’t a better time to get up-to-speed!

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered – Whatta Sale!

Marvel's Spider-Man remastered

“This isn’t the Spider-Man you’ve met or ever seen before. This is an experienced Peter Parker who’s more masterful at fighting big crime in New York City. At the same time, he’s struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of Marvel’s New York rest upon his shoulders.”

Saving 33%, players around the world will be able to experience the full original story from Insomniac, with all three DLC chapters included as well for only $40.19/£33.49! Now there are cheaper games involved with the sale for sure, but for the quality on offer here, you’d be a fool not to get involved!

It may not be an origin story, or at least not Peter’s, but the events that occur here have wide-ranging consequences, directly involving the next game mentioned, as well as the upcoming sequel. It may be a Peter Parker that has been Spider-Man for eight years, but it’s also the story of a Peter that just can’t get it together and balance his life fully, with sacrifices made and villains made.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales – But Wait, There’s More!

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered

“Following the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, teenager Miles Morales is adjusting to his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as a new Spider-Man. But when a fierce power struggle threatens to destroy his new home, the aspiring hero realizes that with great power, there must also come great responsibility. To save all of Marvel’s New York, Miles must take up the mantle of Spider-Man and own it.”

The shorter title boasts a smaller price, but the same discount! Again saving 33%, players can take the reigns of the popular Spider-Man for as little as $33.49/£26.79! It doesn’t boast the amount of content as the previous game, hence the cheaper price, but it still packs a punch and is definitely good value!

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes place a year after the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, with the time between clearly spent between the two of them in a tutor/student relationship. Peter may have been training Miles to be a new Spider-Man over the last year, but the game gives him a reason to step back from the story and allow Miles’ trials, tribulations and solutions taking centre stand, and it gives a good impression of how differently the Spider-Man title affects different people.
