The estimate revealed that the film is set to open to between $175 million and $185 million domestically and $180 million abroad. If Wakanda Forever opens the set estimate it would be third highest opening weekend post-pandemic.

The film grossed $1.3 billion at the box office and became the second-highest-grossing film of that year. It would not be easy to stand up to the expectations everyone has from the film.
