Fans won’t learn whether the Reverse Flash rumors are genuine until Thursday night sneak peek screenings of The Flash, but the actress cut a striking figure on the red carpet.

Chastain appeared to wear a black jumpsuit by Oscar de la Renta with flower and butterfly details, which has a suggested retail price of $5,490. The actress arrived on the red carpet without any jewelry, letting her long red hair fall past her shoulders.

The Flash features a “secret ending,” according to a new Variety article, which was not seen when the movie was shown to exhibitors for the first time at the Las Vegas event CinemaCon in April. The Flash has multiple red carpet events across the nation as well as in other markets, but Monday night’s Los Angeles premiere is claimed to be the movie’s only premiere.

Although the nature of this “secret ending” has not yet been revealed, reports from January 2020 suggested Chastain would portray a Reverse Flash figure who has had her gender switched.

Flashpoint will be covered in the upcoming Flash film, director Andy Muschietti revealed, confirming years of rumors. Since Reverse-Flash cannot exist without Barry Allen, neither can Flashpoint exist without him.

However, Muschietti and writer Christina Hodson might be hiding a secret that changes more than just the timeline. Reverse-Flash will be gender-swapped to fit IT : Chapter Two star Jessica Chastain, according to a “Breaking” Reddit revelation that, to be fair, hasn’t been independently verified. The post said,

“Barry Allen has the power of super speed, and fights daily against villains in Central City, but that doesn’t stop him from suffering for his mother’s death, but everything changes when he meets a mysterious woman, named Eobard Thawne, who teaches Barry a way to change his mother’s tragic fate.”

The story at the centre of the character, according to Muschietti, who joined The Flash last summer, is “a beautiful human” one. He most recently disclosed on That Hashtag Show that the version of Flashpoint will deviate from expectations.

He might be referring to changing Reverse-Flash’s gender, and that has some promise. Barry might be connected to or even be the daughter of an Eobard Thawne, or whatever name they choose, played by Jessica Chastain, making the murder of his mother even more devastating and intimate.
