Jamie Foxx has had an unknown terrible health emergency lately and fans have been curious to know what the actor actually went through. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star recently took to Instagram to give an update about his recovery.
With no information about his illness, fans were left to their imagination, and media outlets made all kinds of stories that his daughter kept on clarifying since it all started back in April.
According to reports, the actor showed signs of a health scare during the final phases of his upcoming film alongside Cameron Diaz – Back in Action. His daughter was with him when he was rushed to the hospital back in April.
It’s been almost 3 months and the actor still doesn’t want his fans to know about his struggles. In his Instagram video, he had tears in his eyes while he talked about how grateful he has been to be recovering.
Jamie Foxx Can’t Thank His Sister And Daughter Enough
Filming for Back in Action was halted in April when Jamie Foxx became hospitalized. He was in no condition to work, and the production had to use body doubles to complete filming.
Deidra Dixon (sister) and Corinne Foxx (daughter) kept everything sealed, and in the teary-eyed video shared by the actor, he wished that people had a family like he has who can protect them in situations like these.
“I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in such a way, and y’all know they kept it airtight. They didn’t let nothin’ out, they protected me.”
Corinne Foxx, on multiple occasions, has dispelled rumors about the condition of her father getting worse. Jamie Foxx himself jokingly rolled his eyes and said, “They’re working fine.”
Jamie Foxx Went Through Hell But Is Recovering Faster Than Ever
On May 3, the Django Unchained star shared a post on his Instagram thanking his fans for all the love they had been pouring in since the news broke out of his sudden hospitalization. Prior to that, only his daughter was responsible for handling the media.
He added that he doesn’t want fans to see him struggling with tubes all around his body.
“I want you all to see me laughing, having a good time, partying. I didn’t want you all to see me with tubes running out of me, and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through.”
Jamie Foxx, according to his daughter, had been recovering really quickly and was even spotted recently in Vegas for his new commercial shoot with BetMGM.
“Thankful for my BetMGM family, and a great few nights in Vegas. We got BIG things coming soon,” said his Instagram post.
The 55-year-old actor said that he had been through hell in the past couple of weeks and experienced some things that he had never imagined.
