Marvel Cinematic Universe is credited with having its own identity, with a series formula that has been tried and tested for success. The movies, which initially focused on Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America, have grown to showcase various characters from different backgrounds. But they haven’t won many awards.
Interestingly, many scenes in the movies are so iconic that fans think they are Oscar-worthy. So with that in mind, here are just a few of the MCU moments for which everyone would like to thank the entire MCU production.
A quick warning!!!! The posts ahead are ripe with spoilers. So proceed forward with caution.
1.When the Avengers met the Guardians
Soon after accepting Nebula’s orders to arrive at Titan to save Gamora from Thanos, Guardians meet Earth’s mightiest, who have chosen to take the battle to the purple hazard.
2.Tony “Stank”
In the last part of the film, Lee springs up as a FedEx conveyance man who needs to drop off a bundle to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) at the Avengers Headquarters. To Rhodey (Don Cheadle) and the watchers’ delight, Lee’s character miss-speaks Tony Stark’s name as Tony Stank.
3. “Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good.”
Tom Holland’s Spiderman gazes towards Tony Stark and says, “Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so great” before he deteriorates into dust. People are still reeling from this attack on their sensibilities.
4.When Peter and Tony reunited
In Avengers: Endgame, we saw the two rejoined endearingly since Peter felt as though he had just been gone momentarily; however, Tony Stark went through five years feeling as though he had failed him. The moment is brief yet shows precisely how much Peter meant to Tony and how, through everything, Tony was consistently a mentor to Peter.
5.The Battle of New York
Rogers, Stark, Romanoff, Barton, and Thor rally in defense of New York City. Banner shows up and changes into the Hulk, and together the Avengers fight the Chitauri while evacuating regular people.
6.Steve Rogers becomes Captain America
It is 1942, America entered World War II and debilitated yet decided to dismiss Steve Rogers once more for military assistance. Everything changes when Dr. Erskine initiates him for the mysterious Project Rebirth. Demonstrating his exceptional fortitude, brains, and heart, Rogers goes through the trial, and his frail body is abruptly improved into the most extreme human potential.
7. Iron Man versus Captain America
Tony battles to avenge his parents’ murder, and Steve battles to save the one individual he has left in his reality. In the two fights—one fights for everyone’s benefit, and one for their most profoundly close to home mission gives a mixed drink of an epic scene.
8. Cap versus Cap
It may very well be the most incredible scene in Avengers: Endgame – when Captain America, having ventured out back in time to New York, and meets himself (who ruins Loki’s future), and the two participate in a fierce battle.
9. The paprika
What solace food do you cook for a “skilled” mutant that almost obliterates your superhuman club? Chicken paprikash. In any event, where Vision decides to cook for the Scarlet Witch, a.k.a. Wanda Maximoff, in Captain America: Civil War.
10.” Shoot to Thrill”
When Tony appears in Germany blasting AC/DC’s ‘Shoot to Thrill’ — it’s one of the top picks of most fans.
11. Korg, Thor
After the Snap, Korg was one of the survivors, making his home in New Asgard with Miek and the remainder of the enduring Asgardians, and stays with Thor as he slides into a drunk hermit over his distress. During the Battle of Earth, Korg joined the fight to overcome Thanos. Korg disclosing it to Thor why he’s ‘somewhat a serious deal around here’ was an extraordinary scene.
13. Yondu’s sacrifice
Yondu’s group betrayed their previous captain and put their trust instead in Taserface. With the assistance of Rocket Raccoon, Udonta got his vengeance against the double-crossers and annihilated his boat. Youndu went to help the Guardians of the Galaxy in the fight against Ego. As the planet fell into itself, Youndu Udonta forfeited his spacesuit and sacrificed his own life to save Quill.
14. Dr. Erskine’s request, Captain America
Dr. Erskine, the scientist who created the serum, pushed for Rogers to be selected. He had seen first-hand that the serum would make any test subject very powerful, and the essential qualities to look for were core personality traits that would decide how the issue used that power.
15. “Just a Girl”
In the last battle of Captain Marvel, featuring Brie Larson as an Air Force pilot turned superhuman, Carol Danvers finds her forces to the 1995 radio hit “Simply a Girl,” by Gwen Stefani. While the utilization of the melody partitioned a ton of Marvel fans, who either hated it or adored it, the movie’s directors considered it the “wonderful hymn” for their hero’s crude.
16. Groot’s sacrifice
Groot’s death denoted the most impactful enthusiastic beat of the film. As Ronan’s boat — the Dark Aster — plunged toward the outside of Xandar, Groot utilized himself as an obstruction to shield his partners from the deadly effect. He put forth a conscious attempt to keep his recently discovered companions alive, and that choice was not made in vain.
17. “She’s got help.”
As Captain Marvel retrieves the second infinity gauntlet from Spider-Man, he says, “I don’t know how you’re going to get it through all that,” and as he utters the last syllable, Valkyrie and Scarlet Witch descend from above and respond, “don’t worry” with Black Panther’s Okoye adding “she’s got help.”
18. The jet conversation
In the conversation scene, we get a unique, insider-but-outsider look at Tony Stark and what those who surrounded him honestly thought of him.
19. Black Widow’s sacrifice
In case you don’t know, Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff sacrificed herself by jumping off a cliff on Vormir to allow the Avengers to acquire the Soul Stone. This was one of the most emotional scenes in MCU.
20. The chase sequence
The Bucky/Cap/Falcon/Black Panther chase scene is one of the absolute best sequences in the MCU; plus, it’s the moment when we’re finally introduced to Black Panther.
21.” … and I am Iron Man.”
When Thanos declared that “I am inevitable,” and Iron Man replied to that saying, “And I am Iron Man” is undoubtedly one of the classiest TV moments in the endgame.
22. The Stan Lee tribute
Though it technically might not count as a ‘moment in the MCU,’ one of the most powerful moments everyone experienced in theaters was when they went to see Captain Marvel. The previews had ended, the lights had dimmed, and the well-known ‘MARVEL’ opening sequence began to play — except every hero had been replaced by a different moment for the recently departed Stan Lee, THE Marvel hero. It was a great tribute to his legacy.
