At this point, basically, every one of the main six Avengers has gotten their own projects except for Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk. Although the actor has been with the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the first phase, he has yet to get a standalone project. Even with years gone by and many of the main six Avengers leaving their posts, the Hulk is yet to stand out on his own.
Seeing that the new phase had somewhat of a mixed response, there could be a lot going on with what the franchise is planning. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 had an amazing response while Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was underwhelming for quite a lot of fans. With a lot of projects lined up for the audience, one more might already be in the works.
A World War Hulk Movie Is Possibly In The Making
The title for Captain America 4 recently got changed from Captain America: New World Order to Captain America: Brave New World. A lot of events will be taking place in the movie and it will be responsible for quite a lot of new characters. Not only does it set a base structure for the upcoming Thunderbolts movie, but it will now also set the ground for another project.
Mark Ruffalo could very possibly be getting his own project after so long. Reportedly, a new project is already underway and it could very well be a World War Hulk movie. It will pose as a follow-up movie to Anthony Mackie’s project. However, it is to be noted that nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Whether or not Ruffalo will be coming back for the project is also yet to be confirmed. Although, with all the hype that the movie is already getting, it can be said that this follow-up project already has a big line of fans waiting.
Fans Support The Idea Of A World War Hulk Project
Hulk has been a fan favorite for a very long time. The audience has also repeatedly been asking for a solo project for the hero. However, that has been complicated to proceed with even for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The news of a possible World War Hulk project has already excited the fans so much that they have been cheering for it continuously.
The wait for a Hulk movie has been consistent amongst the fans and that might finally get a breather. Not only has every other original Avenger gotten their own project, but Mark Ruffalo is the only one who hasn’t been in the spotlight for a movie or a series. Many of his integral plots took place off-screen and that was not pleasing to the fans. So this might finally be when things change for his character.
Captain America: Brave New World will be available to watch in theatres from 4th May 2024.
