Actors taking extreme measures to attain the perfect physique for certain roles is quite ubiquitous within the industry now. But Stallone explained how this might have some adverse effects on individuals, who tend to go too hard for to achieve the desired physique.
Sylvester Stallone regrets pushing his body over the limit during his early years in Hollywood
Although the First Blood Star did push himself to enormous lengths during his heyday in the industry, it seems that the consequences of his extreme dedication have finally caught up with him. Following his recent Instagram post, Sylvester Stallone opened up about how his unreal commitment to working out and constantly pushing his body over the limit have an adverse effect on his life. While explaining his back pain, the actor warned others about pushing one’s body too hard by stating,
“Flashback. no wonder my back hurts.! When you Workout remember Every exercise has long-range consequences. Knees, elbows, shoulders, ankles, wrists, and neck if you push too hard, these strenuous movements will come back to haunt you. That’s why I’ve always said getting in really great shape Will kill you! Lol”
However, Stallone previously clarified that he isn’t against the idea of working out and previously explained why working within a limit can be beneficial for both one’s physical and mental well-being.

Ever since Superhero movies have taken the mainstream spotlight and cemented themselves as the most dominating force in Hollywood, the culture of attaining a great physique has become quite synonymous. Although Stallone may be against the idea of one pushing themselves to the limit during working out, however, the actor admits that exercising within a limit can be pretty beneficial. Stallone explained the benefits of working out by stating,
“It’s not about living in a gym. But just finding something that gets the blood flowing through the body. It will affect your brain, it’ll affect your confidence, it’ll affect your optimism. That’s why when people feel sick, they only have one dream – to feel better. And when you don’t feel sick at all, there’s 10,000 things they want.”
But despite the actor’s warning regarding the repercussions that one may have to endure, following the current landscape of Hollywood and Superhero media, things aren’t looking to change anytime soon.
