The recently release physical media of Loki has multiple features and scenes that avid Marvel fans would love to watch. One of the most exciting ones is Chris Hemsworth’s special cameo as an alternate reality Thor. In an episode, where Morbius is busy looking through the events from Loki’s timeline, an alternate version of Thor appears while Loki is being coronated.
But who is this alternate reality Thor? It is none other than Throg, aka Thor as a Frog.
Throg In Loki Season 1
As was with the Loki variants in season 1, an alternate version of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor also appears in a scene in Loki. While Hemsworth recorded multiple lines of Throg, only a low grunt ended up in the scene. Furthermore, there were said to be multiple other scenes with Throg, but none of them ultimately made it to the final cut.
With Loki Season 2 set to release soon, it would be exciting to have Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor make an appearance. And even better would be to have different variants of Thor fighting Kang. So here are five God of Thunder variants we would love to see in season 2 taking down Kang the Conqueror.

1. Jane Foster
After appearing in the last Thor movie, Thor: Love and Thunder, Jane Foster makes an interesting version of Thor. Although this universe’s Foster is already dead, an alternate version with the mighty Mjolnir would make an interesting sight to behold. Not only would she be physically powerful but her sharp mind could help Loki challenge Kang’s manipulation.
2. Ultimate Thor
Ultimate Thor or Thorlief Golmen is among the most powerful versions of the mighty thunder God. Not only is he part of the Ultimates, but he is a character rooted deeply in faith and cosmic might. His political activeness and vocalness in the affairs of humanity make him an interesting being to fight Kang and would give a different edge to the series’ storyline.
3. Iron Hammer
Iron Hammer from the world of Amalgam Comics is a new entity comprising Thor and Iron Man. Not only does he have the might of the legendary God but he also has the mind of a tech genius, making him the ultimate enemy to Kang. Being able to wield the Mjolnir and the capability of Stark Technology would provide a unique challenge to Kang, proving an ultra techno-magical clash.
4. Beta Ray Bill
From 616 Universe, Beta Ray Bill is a supreme super-soldier with the power to wield Mjolnir and has his own Thor superpowers in his legendary weapon, the Stormbreaker. A Kang vs Beta Ray Bill clash would be a comic spectacle and make an event to behold since it would be a battle between the guardian of the universe and time-bending Tyran.

The most powerful of all Thor variants, the Old King Phoenix Thor is a formidable entity, and it would be a mesmerizing battle to witness. With his formidable powers and millennia of experience, armed with the most powerful power, the Phoenix Force, Phoenix Thor could lead to unraveling the very threads of reality, providing Marvel with a plethora of storylines to explore in their future venture.
