Recently Miley Cyrus released her new song, Flowers where she sang about their relationship. Though she tried to reach Hemsworth to inform him about her new song, he was completely unreachable as he refused to speak with the singer.
Miley Cyrus’s Flower Is About Liam Hemsworth
Miley Cyrus’s new song Flower from her album Endless Summer Vacation just got released, and people are already speculating that the song is about her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth. Though Cyrus has not confirmed what or who is behind the meaning of her new song, the release date, and lyrics say otherwise.
Flowers was released on January 13, 2023, which is coincidently also the same date as Liam Hemsworth’s 33rd birthday. And according to many fans, the first line of the song sounds a lot like the ex-couples relationship.
“We were good, we were gold/ Kind of dream that can’t be sold/ We were right till we weren’t/ Built a home and watched it burn”
It metaphorically could mean the home they created by being in a relationship for so long and their bonding of being good friends, burnt down after their divorce. And it could also have a literal meaning as their house, located in Malibu was razed down by the Woosley Fire back in 2018. There is also a clip from 2019’s Vanity Fair Party where she seems to be showing some dance moves with her ex-husband Hemsworth while in an interview, and the same dance steps were also seen in her recent upload, Flower.
Various sources say that Miley Cyrus tried to reach out to her ex-husband multiple times and wanted to inform him about the song and its meaning prior to its release so that it may not come as a shock to him, but Liam Hemsworth did not respond to her and did not want to talk to her.

Miley Cyrus is an American singer whose career in the big lights started with her role in Disney’s Hannah Montana. Originally her name was Destiny Hope Cyrus, but she legally changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus back in 2008. She started early into the acting path through a role in a tv series, Doc when she was only 9 years old. Later, Cyrus also played a role in the movie, Big Fish. In 2005, she auditioned for the role of Hannah Montana and got the lead role in the show. Since then Cyrus has only been making hit shows and also flourished in the music industry.
Liam Hemsworth is an Australian actor who also started his career in soap operas like many others. He did big films early in his career such as starring in The Hunger Games franchise. He also starred in Expandables 2 which aired in 2012. Back in 2016, he was appointed as the ambassador for the Australian Childhood Foundation. He has 2 elder brothers, one among which one is Chris Hemsworth – who is widely known for his role as Thor in the MCU.
