Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni’s The Mandalorian have met immense success for their Disney+ Star Wars Universe. The Mandalorian in particular has broken multiple records. The show has become one of the most popular streaming shows available on the internet and even stormed past popular shows such as The Witcher and numerous other popular TV shows from platforms all across the world.
With such immense success, fans have demanded the creators of the show to take over multiple other Star Wars franchise projects and make them into fine blockbusters. It’s not surprising that many would want that given that The Mandalorian has somewhat saved the franchise after its multiple failures with its movie projects.
Fans Demand Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni to Takeover
Popular opinion has it that the Star Wars franchise films are not bad, it’s just that they are the flagship products and the spearheads of the franchise. So, the Star Wars movies always need to be at the helm of the franchise for the franchise to be booming, instead, the shows are producing more fan base than the movies, which had many rethink the matter. While Jon Favreau is an excellent and also an experienced individual in these matters, moreover, being backed by an individual such as Dave Filoni, the franchise is having its side quests. The TV shows are far more successful than many of the Star Wars movies.

But it is also a fact that not every TV show made by the Star Wars franchise has been as successful as The Mandalorian but it still does not change the fact that the production team has done an absolutely marvelous job in producing the show. As The Mandalorian is a part of the franchise, it might not be a far-fetched claim to let the creators of the TV series get more access to the franchise, making even more successful projects for them. This in turn will only benefit Star Wars and Disney.
