The actress shared on the show,
“Leonardo DiCaprio. That’s what was going through my mind. I had seen Titanic seven and a half times in theatres, he was the love of my life. I had a picture of him that was signed that I had gotten for my birthday when I was 12 years old.”
“It was just walking up and getting near him, which was really exciting.”
She shared in an interview with Sirius XM,
“He’s very sweet though. But that was truly what was the craziest experience, the fact that it was him. It still feels like it didn’t really occur because it was him that was there.”
When the actress accepted her award, the first thing Stone said on the stage was, ‘Leo’ as she pointed at the actor who was standing on her left side.

“In our first-ever audition together, which was seven years ago, we were asked to improvise—so we immediately had a rapport, which you can find if you improvise with someone. And if it works, then it usually continues to go that way. [We have a] similar sense of humor and a similar mentality.”
