There’s More Leaked Footage from GTA 6 and It. Is. Average?

GTA 6 is rumored to have a $1 Billion budget, if not more

GTA 6 has become one of those titles that feels more like a myth than an actual game at this point. Rockstar Games released GTA 5 in 2013 and has continued to release it across three generations of platforms. There has been very little official information on GTA 6 other than the fact that it is coming to fans in the future. While several gamers have been excited over the recent Rockstar Games announcement that Red Dead Redemption will be porting to Switch and PlayStation 4, many were disappointed by the $50 price tag and no new information on the next Grand Theft Auto franchise installment.

We now have new leaked footage that has circulated from GTA 6, and although it is not an official announcement from Rockstar Games, it does have gamers talking. The graphics do not appear to be much different from Grand Theft Auto 5, however, what we are seeing is likely not the completed product. The source of the footage comes from Twitter/X user, @RockstarGTAVl, and says the following:

And probably a bit of history

What Does the Footage Show and Could It Lead to An GTA 6 Announcement?

Potential GTA 6 leaked footage shows a new nightclub scene for players to explore.
Potential GTA 6 leaked footage shows a new nightclub scene for players to explore.

As previously mentioned, the GTA 6 footage is from a nightclub. It starts by showing a playable character walking up a flight of stairs to the second floor. The player then passes by two NPC’s arguing and proceeds to stand by a dancer, while others talk around him. This small clip shows that players can walk up to various NPC’s to hear dynamic dialogue, which is something fairly common for GTA games.

The video is very basic in nature, and does not show off much in terms of graphics or gameplay. It has certainly led to some mixed and disappointed responses from observers who want more of the title. However, until Rockstar Games makes more official moves, this is all fans can hope to get. If you are interested in checking out the trailer, it can be found linked at the bottom of this article.

Unfortunately, rumors are indicating that GTA 6 may not released until 2025. This means there will have been a 12 year difference between the release of GTA 5 and GTA 6. It is unlikely this leaked clip is going to inspire Rockstar Games to make official announcements, since similar reports have been made in the past.

We have seen leaks related to source code, chainsaw activity, 8K support and more. These are all exciting features, but they have not been officially verified. And given the fact the GTA 6 map is rumored to be more massive than any of the previous games, these could be microscopic leaks in comparison to the overall game.

Another rumor suggests a GTA 6 reveal trailer could be coming this November, however, there has been no verification on such an announcement yet. Only time will tell if the GTA 6 leaks will be as accurate as the Modern Warfare 3 showings this year, which basically previewed the whole game before official verification. Nevertheless, it is unlikely the leaks will stop, so stay tuned with FandomWire as we follow the story waiting for Rockstar Games to finally puts its cards on the table.

What do you think of the GTA 6 nightclub leak? Are the graphics still a work in progress or should fans have cause for concern? Do you think the wait since GTA 5 will be worth it or has too much hype built for the title? Leave a comment and let us know.
