In a series of unfortunate events, reports have come up about Amber Heard‘s upcoming Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom director James Wan being rushed to the hospital, leaving the entertainment world in a buzz. As per the recent social media update by his wife, Ingrid Bisu, Wan was taken to ER in recent days.

The DC filmmaker had shared a picture of himself in a hospital gown from a room in Cedar Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, with the caption:

“Thank you Cedar Sinai for taking good care of me.”

Reposting his story, Bisu added how scary the past few days since Wan was admitted had been for her, all the while confirming his recovery and thanking the hospital for their utmost care. She wrote,

“It has been an extremely rough and scary couple of days and nights. You never want to rush to the ER in the middle of the night and then have to stay in the hospital. Cedars Sinai is truly the best!! The best doctors, nurses, technicians, just the most wonderful people. James is safe now and on the mend.”

With a cloud of uncertainty now hanging over the much-anticipated movie’s progress, fans are hoping for a quick recovery of James Wan and also for the quick resuming of the Amber Heard starrer Aquaman 2.

The fact that the news about James Wan’s health has come up just a few weeks after Amber Heard’s ex-beau Johnny Depp‘s crippling leg injury reports has left the fans in complete shock. Earlier this year in May 2023 Depp had reportedly sustained a serious ankle injury during his film Jeanne du Barry‘s promotion in Cannes, as revealed by his Hollywood Vampires bandmates.

“We are sad to share that the Hollywood Vampires will be rescheduling our three US tour dates this coming week. Johnny has sustained a painful injury to his ankle following his recent appearances and has been advised by his doctor not to travel. He is devastated by this turn of events, but looks forward to resting up so all four Vampires can bring their absolute best to the tour in Europe.”

Observing the strange turn of events that has been following both Amber Heard as well as her acquaintances around, fans believe that Lady Luck just might’ve left the building for all three of the prominent figures all the while praying for a quick recovery for the injured.
