But it is no stranger to controversy, receiving shots from Martin Scorcese and many other film enthusiasts who believe Marvel is destroying the market for personal gain. Avengers: Endgame became the highest-grossing film in history after a re-release.

Ms. Marvel’s connection with Mutants

Despite many successes, phase four of Marvel has not been received well. Criticized for sacrificing plots for action scenes and hiring directors for their visions, only to bully them into using the marvel formula has become a few of the main critiques.

The studio has also been known for cop-outs, sticking to the heroes from Avengers, rather than pushing into mutants, inhuman, or the fantastic four. While only receiving lip service, mutants have at least been mentioned in Ms. Marvel.

Fantastic Four also saw a nod in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, with the casting of John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic. But the expansion of the roster remains a mystery.

The Comics fans do not seem happy with Kevin Feige

Despite having its own show, the Inhumans failed to garner interest, due to low ratings and lukewarm reception from fans. The Inhumans did see a larger inclusion in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series, but the series’s canon status itself is disputed.

Inhumans’ Black Bolt was also featured in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, only to get discarded like a crushed tin can. So, there is a consistent pattern of the Inhumans being included only for fan service.

Furthermore, even in Ms. Marvel, the character was hinted to be a mutant, despite being inhuman after being exposed to the Terrigen Mist according to the comics. This decision has sparked the fans into a frenzy, as they claim that Kevin Feige hasn’t read the comics.
