According to information pouring in, John Wick 4 is said to have made a whopping 137 million dollars worldwide over 3 days. In comparison, two big-budget DC superhero films namely Black Adam and Shazam 2 which were touted to set the box office on fire, surrendered meekly with meager collections of around $67 million and $65 million respectively over the first weekend of their global release. With John Wick 4 looking to gain more pace over the week, it may well be a year where action thrillers could overshadow the hyped superhero franchises.
