The John Wick franchise began in the year 2014, starring Keanu Reeves in the lead role. The first installment focused on bringing the hitman out of his retirement to deal with some brand-new business. But even before the mission starts a gangster kills Wick’s dog. From there onwards, the craze for John Wick and his dog took over the internet. Throughout the four installments, Baba Yaga’s life took several twists and turns.
But in the fourth sequel which was released recently, looks like the journey of fans’ beloved character has already come to an end. And fans are having a hard time processing the ending of the sequel.
Fans Not Ready To Accept The Ending Of John Wick 4

The 4th chapter focused on putting John Wick against the High Table. So the story goes as Marquis, a powerful player in the underworld looks forward to tracking down Baba Yaga. But in return, John Wick challenges him to a duel and if he wins he gets freedom. Later on, Marquis chooses Caine to step into the ground against John Wick. When Marquis gets the idea of Caine winning, he takes away the gun to shoot Baba Yaga.
In the end, John Wick fires Marquis and the contest between the two continues. Until Caine puts an end to Baba Yaga’s story by shooting him in his gut. Even though badly wounded, John Wick gathers his courage to shoot one last shot at the High Table. The ending of the film suggests that Baba Yaga is dead, but is he really? That’s hard to believe even for fans and the characters in the film.

Fans have praised the whole team of John Wick: Chapter 4 for creating such a masterpiece film. But the ending didn’t sit well with some of the fans as they want more of the franchise films to come in the future.
Keanu Reeves May Return In John Wick 5
There are a lot of questions in people’s minds about the death of John Wick. But the director Chad Stahelski has set the record straight on whether he is done with the franchise or not. Previously, during the lockdown period, some plans for two sequels of John Wick were revealed. Stahelski’s initial plans were to make two John Wick films simultaneously. But he didn’t go for it as he didn’t want to hurry and give the best movie to the audience.
In a recent interview, Keanu Reeves did mention that he loves the character of John Wick and is waiting for the audience’s reviews for this film. He hopes that everyone likes it.
Even Lionsgate isn’t ready to let go of Keanu Reeves and his character.
“We’re not ready to say goodbye to Keanu with this franchise. It’s what alternative there will be… there’s a lot of different things that we can do [to incorporate Reeves into additional John Wick installments].”
Keanu Reeves will be appearing next for a small role in Ballerina starring Ana De Armas. The film is a spinoff of the John Wick Franchise.
Ballerina will come to theatres next year.
