However, he stumbled on his words when the 60-year-old actor was referred to as an inspiration to him. Reflecting on his earlier comment when he described the Edge of Tomorrow star as “inspiring,” the interviewer asked him the same question.
This time, however, the Speed star had something else to say. “I don’t know if an inspiration, no, he’s just amazing. He’s just incredible,” Reeves said. He further mentioned that he is a great actor and has done outstanding work in the industry.
Earlier, the 58-year-old actor described Cruise as an “inspiring” figure and said they are all just “beneficiaries” of his excellence. Reeves also reflected on if he would ever share the screen with the Jack Reacher star.
