Justice League: Warworld will see popular television actor Jensen Ackles return to voice the role of Batman. Ackles has a long history with DC animated films, dating back to his acclaimed performance as Jason Todd/Red Hood in the 2010 standalone feature Batman: Under the Red Hood. Ackles continued to voice Batman in the next film Justice League: Legion of Super-Heroes. The Supernatural star also nearly landed his first live-action gig as Batman in CW’s television series Gotham Knights but ultimately did not take up the project due to his other creative commitments at the time. The opportunity subsequently went to David Alexander Miller while Ackles’ Supernatural co-star Misha Collins was roped in to play Harvey Dent.
