Hugh Grant’s opinions are never hidden, and they are frequently evident. Grants once discussed his Notting Hill co-star Julia Roberts. Grant made numerous comments about the 55-year-old actress. He was frequently making fun of Roberts’ acting abilities and her big mouth. The actor from Love Actually discussed his kissing scenes with Roberts. He described the kissing sequences as awkward. 

When Grant was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey, she asked Grant about Roberts. The Gentlemen actor said,

“ She is very big-mouthed! Literally, physically, she has a very big mouth. When I was kissing her I was aware of a faint echo.”

Grant’s statement upset the Pretty Woman actress, but she opted to forgive the 62-year-old actor. Fans of Roberts were shocked by Grant’s words for Roberts.

Grant was aware that his comments about Roberts could irritate people and Roberts’s admirers. He was aware that Roberts was additionally unhappy with how he mocked her mouth, acting abilities, and other aspects. Grant purportedly made fun of the Eat, Pray, Love actress even on the set.

When Grant was asked about Roberts on Andy Cohen’s show Watch What Happens Live in 2015, he poked fun at the 55-year-old actress once more. When asked if he was still in contact with Roberts, the Wonka star said, 

“No. I would be I suppose, but I probably made too many jokes about the size of her mouth. She might hate me by now.” 

Hugh was reportedly irritated by Roberts’ tantrums because she charged a high fee to work in the film Notting Hill. The Wonder actress reportedly requested $15 million after rejecting to work for $10 million. Grant was recently criticized for his behavior toward Ashley Graham at the Oscars. Graham who was interviewing the celebrities for the big night was interviewing Grant. The 62-year-old actor gave curt replies to the 35-year-old model and after ending the interview he left with an unkind face.

Grant’s blunt act was seen as unacceptable, and many people chastised him for his actions with Graham. When asked about the interview controversy with Grant, Graham stated that she was raised to be kind and that she will “kill ’em with kindness.” She also expressed her gratitude for the internet support she received from those who stood up for her.
