The Small Blue Bird has once again soared high with a bunch of controversial statements on her wings. The fans of Jordan Peterson blast Elon Musk after Twitter deleted his account over his statement on Elliot Page’s sex change. According to them, the platform is still at a deficit of Free Speech.

What is The Elliot Page Controversy?
The Inception actor Elliot Page(formerly Ellen Page) came out in 2020 as a trans man and recently its also been reflected in the latest season of his series The Umbrella Academy. In the third installment of the series, his character’s name has been changed from Vanya to Viktor.
On June 22, during the middle of Pride Month, the Canadian psychiatrist and Youtuber Jordan Peterson took to the platform to tweet about Page’s sex change and stated “Remember when pride was a sin?”. He continued “And Ellen Page just had her breasts removed by a criminal physician.” Almost after a week, his daughter Mikhaila screenshotted the message and said about her father that the respective tweet of his got deleted and she accused Twitter of not being a platform for Free Speech.
Peterson’s friend and conservative politician Dave Rubin also commented on this case and came in support of his friend and called this insanity on Twitter.
Jordan Peterson even claimed that he would rather die but not delete the tweet. He spoke to National Post and his words are:
“There are no rules on Twitter except don’t do what we don’t like today,” he said. “They are always applied post hoc by algorithms and idiots bent on maintaining their woke superiority.”

Audience Reactions to Elon Musk
Jordan Peterson is not new to controversies. Earlier also he came under the radar for commenting on the plus-size Sports Magazine cover model and calling her “not beautiful” and he also expressed his thoughts of leaving Twitter after being criticized for his views.
Twitter deleted his tweet by saying that it promotes hateful conduct. The fans of Peterson didn’t take it in a good way and expressed their views on the platform:
Twitter has also snatched away several features from Jordan Peterson’s account and said that his account will be active only after he deletes his tweet. Looks like both the parties are firm on their respective decisions and it will be interesting to watch in which way the whole scenario proceeds.
