Hollywood star Jonathan Majors started the year off in grand fashion with two big releases that saw the star shine in prominent roles. First, Majors was the saving grace in Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania in which he played the part of Marvel’s chilling villain, Kang the Conqueror. In a film that was heavily criticized by fans and critics alike, Jonathan Majors managed to run away with the only accolades for his commanding portrayal of Kang. Majors further cemented his domination in 2023 with Creed 3 in which he impressed everyone with his intense performance as a boxing rival to Michael B. Jordan.
Unfortunately, things went south for Jonathan Majors very quickly. The actor was arrested for alleged domestic assault a few weeks ago after a complaint registered by his rumored girlfriend. Though Majors was released and his team immediately went into damage control mode, the celebrity’s reputation has surely taken a hit. More significantly, the action star’s behavior has possibly ruined his chance to be the leading force in the MCU.
Jonathan Majors’ Stint In Marvel and Other Projects Is Under Threat
Following Jonathan Majors’ arrest and subsequent release due to alleged charges of domestic violence, the star’s image has now been tarnished with the repercussion of the incident coming back to haunt him on several occasions. If reports are true, Majors’ talent manager Entertainment 360 has reportedly decided to stop representing the Creed 3 star. Majors was also conspicuously missing from the Met Gala listing this year when Valentino and the actor “Mutually agreed” that he will not represent the brand.
The more significant information that fans will be waiting to hear is if Jonathan Majors’ role as Kang is in jeopardy. With the star already having appeared in Loki and leading the charge in the latest Ant-Man film, his expanded role in Avengers: Secret Wars is something that fans would be eager to witness. But with the recent setback in his personal life, it is a possibility that his involvement with Marvel could be in danger. Neither Marvel Studios nor Majors’ talent agency has confirmed or denied this probability.

Jonathan Majors’ Lawyer Is Confident Of Proving His Innocence
Following the allegations of assault, Jonathan Majors has landed himself on the complicated ground that has already proven costly for the star. But the Kang actor’s lawyer is quietly confident that she will be able to prove his innocence. Majors is expected to appear before a judge on May 8th as he faces multiple counts of harassment and assault. In a statement in March, his lawyer stated,
“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows. We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.”
Major’s attorney further explained that since the incident, the actor’s girlfriend had written to him in a note of apology stating that it was she and not him who was at fault and went on to take the blame for the incident. This was written as a series of text messages to the actor and will be presented in court as part of Majors’ defense strategy.
