The verdict on the Johnny Depp v/s Amber Heard defamation trial was one of the most widely publicized celebrity conflicts in history ever. Heard went into a depressive spiral after losing the case to her former husband while Depp, despite still having to pay damages, was reaping the fruits of a successful legal battle.
The verdict of the trial was very much criticized by many and was also supported by many. While many may think only a select few people were affected by the verdict, two very familiar faces, Depp’s daughter Lily-Rose Depp and Cara Delevingne were also a part of it all, at least behind the scenes.

The verdict on the Johnny Depp v/s Amber Heard defamation trial was quite a ride, almost three months of going back and forth on articles about the whole situation must’ve been quite tiring for fans of either actor.
But all the drama hasn’t come to an end. There’s always a new development in the story- Depp does this, goes out here with his lawyers, Heard does that, does this, and so on. But one development may have come from two actors who are closely related to Depp and Heard.
Lily-Rose Depp was on cool terms with the original cool girl Cara Delevingne before the trial ever happened. But as is news that Heard had cheated on Depp with his daughter’s close friend, everything changed in the relationship that Lily-Rose and Delevingne had with each other.
The two had already started frequenting each other’s presence all the way back in 2015 due to a similar work schedule with Chanel- they’ve walked shows together, worked on eyewear campaigns, and whatnot!
As many may remember, the problem started when the video of Cara Delevingne kissing Heard went viral on the internet, it’s important to note that Heard was still with Johnny Depp at the time. The internet went crazy seeing that and put down Delevingne for ‘betraying’ her best friend.
People have gone so far as to even accuse Heard of having manipulated Delevingne considering the latter never gave her support to the Aquaman star after losing the case, possibly because their short-lived relationship hurt her emotionally.
Lily-Rose Depp never came out in public to speak about the incident, but your best friend stabbing your back with your stepmom must really hurt!
Does Johnny Depp’s Daughter Lily-Rose Depp Like Amber Heard?
Many would naturally assume that Lily-Rose Depp would be siding with her father Johnny Depp during all the mess that went down last year. However, there is no clear picture of what Lily-Rose thinks of her former stepmom.
One hint, however, comes from Mr. Depp himself. The Edward Scissorhands star revealed during the trial that his daughter had not attended the cute little wedding of him and his ex-wife Amber Heard in 2015 as they “were not on particularly great terms for several reasons.”
There is no clear-cut reply from Lily-Rose Depp about the whole defamation trial situation, even her general opinion on her former stepmom is not there. But there may come a time when she will have to stand up against Heard if it threatens her relationship with her father.
