Johnny Depp and Benedict Cumberbatch were once involved in a viral kiss during their appearance on The Graham Norton Show. It all started when Norton voiced the public view that the Dr Strange star’s mannerisms resembled an otter. This led to a hilarious segment in which Cumberbatch imitated to perfection the various expressions of otters from images on a screen.
The final image showed 3 otters cuddling together with the middle otter being kissed by his pals on either side. To recreate this picture, The Imitation Game actor required the services of both Johnny Depp and Graham Norton. What resulted was a viral clip of The Pirates of the Caribbean star planting a kiss on Cumberbatch’s cheek which sent the audience into whoops of excitement and laughter.

Contrary to his colorful and controversial public image and his quirky characters on screen, Hollywood star Johnny Depp is a self-confessed shy guy who craves to be out of the limelight. The actor is often known to escape the chaos and frenzy of the public eye to retire abroad to his home in Somerset, England. Depp possesses a European-style mansion which has a mammoth 12 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Talking about the perfect balance between public life and privacy that the countryside offers, the Sleepy Hollow star said,
“In truth, I’m quite a shy person. That’s one of the great things about Britain, and especially Somerset. I can just be me – and that’s nice. I can go into shops without being surrounded by people wanting selfies”.
Depp also lauded the British people for being cordial and friendly yet never overbearing or intrusive towards him. The Tourist star purchased this property while he was engaged to Amber Heard and seems to be using it to heal from his personal wounds. While Depp has maintained a very private front, it looks like the star is more than willing to talk about his expansive holiday home.
