Hugh Jackman’s Dedication Toward His Wolverine Character

Marking the end of his 17 years of dedication to the character, Jackson inflicted some action and brought out his claw-popping alter ego for one last time.
Joining the original X-Men in 2000, Hugh Jackman‘s popularity appeared synonymous with Wolverine, a feral mutant with a metal skeleton and a tormented past, who lived under the name Logan. The actor associated with a comic-book character or fantasy franchise delivered some great scenes and earned his fans’ appreciation.
However, there’s a lot that went into his role apart from just the action sequences. The biggest challenge that the actor faced was changing his Australian accent. Jackson who is a proud Aussie remained true to his fantasy character Logan, who had Canadian roots and therefore delivered the dialogues in a flawless accent.
Hugh Jackman Copied Johnny Depp For The Canadian Accent

Delivering the nearly flawless Canadian accent in the film series, Hugh Jackman took his audience by surprise. But he cannot take the credit all by himself. Reportedly thanking Johnny Depp, The Prestige actor claimed that he based Logan’s Western accent on the veteran actor.
