And in one of her media appearances, Lawrence admitted that she didn’t even have enough courage to go up and talk to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the Golden Globes Awards.

While talking about her unexpected encounter with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the Golden Globes Awards, Jennifer Lawrence said, “I didn’t see it coming. I didn’t expect it but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (were) like two feet away from my table and I was…it changes you.”
Explaining how witnessing the duo made her feel, Lawrence gushed, “Like I have heart palpitations. They should be king and queen of America. I would pay taxes to them. Not even think twice about it. I was so blown away.”
However, when the interviewer asked Lawrence if she approached Pitt and Jolie, the Hunger Games actress replied, “No, of course not!” Nervous about disturbing the couple, Lawrence did not approach them but surely loved to share the adorable story in her own, unique fun-filled way.
When Jennifer Lawrence was left star-struck by another celebrity
In another revelation, Jennifer Lawrence opened up about being starstruck by Ariana Grande in a candid interview with W magazine. The Oscar-winning actress, who starred alongside Grande in the film Don’t Look Up, expressed her admiration for the pop star and even mentioned Pete Davidson, Grande’s former fiancé, as another celebrity who captivated her attention. In the movie, Lawrence portrayed an astronomy student who discovers a looming comet heading towards Earth, while Grande played the role of a pop star named Riley Bina, who pens a song to raise awareness about the impending catastrophe. Although their on-screen interaction was limited to a single scene, Lawrence clearly holds Grande in high regard.
During the interview, Lawrence was asked about experiencing moments of being starstruck. And while replying to it, she reflected on her encounters with Grande and Davidson. She said,
“To me, the biggest celebrities in the world are, like, Pete Davidson. Or when Ariana Grande was in my last film, ‘Don’t Look Up,’ I was photographed with her and I fully look like a radio contest winner.”
In addition to Grande and Davidson, Lawrence revealed her admiration for Jessica Simpson, sharing that encountering the singer and reality star would completely overwhelm her. While Lawrence did not delve into the specifics of her affinity for Simpson, it is known that Lawrence has been an avid consumer of reality television and may have watched Simpson’s popular MTV reality show, Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica, during the early 2000s.
