Call it coincidence or just well-planned movies, the duo of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jean-Claude Van Damme has appeared in 3 blockbuster movies. Despite being in the same movies, the two have never shared the same shot to date.

Although they had their rivalry back in the 1980s and 1990s, Van Damme was not as bankable an actor as Schwarzenegger. Despite their differences, the duo wasn’t as disastrous as the duo of Arnold Schwarzenegger and his competitor Sylvester Stallone.
The two remained good friends and continue to do so as they starred in 3 blockbuster movies together. Although starring in the same movie, the Terminator actor and the Bloodsport actor never shared the same shot. Predator, Last Action Hero, and, The Expendables 2, the duo starred in these three movies together.
In Predator, Jean-Claude Van Damme played the role of the original Predator before he was fired while the actor had a cameo in Schwarzenegger’s Last Action Hero. As for The Expendables 2, Van Damme was the antagonist of the movie while Schwarzenegger had a brief role in it.
Fans were quick to notice that Jean-Claude Van Damme and Arnold Schwarzenegger never went face-to-face with each other. The duo never shared the same shot despite being in the same movies for which there has been no reason revealed. With all the fights in the past, Schwarzenegger now looks to the future. Stating that he is concerned with the frightening applications of Artificial Intelligence or A.I., the actor revealed that Terminator could very well become a reality now.

The True Lies actor found fame when he starred in James Cameron’s 1984 movie The Terminator. Being a movie where robots become self-aware and take control, Schwarzenegger is now concerned that the movie could very well become a reality in current times!
“Today, everyone is frightened of AI and wonder where it would go. The Terminator talks about machines becoming self-aware and taking over… Now over the course of decades, it has become a reality — it’s not fantasy or futuristic anymore. It’s here today,”
He further went on to praise director James Cameron by calling him “the number one director in the world,” and wishes that he could take credit for creating the iconic movie. With artificial intelligence becoming a reality, The Terminator is available to stream on Max.
