‘How would they fit a 64 year old woman?’: Jamie Lee Curtis Reveals She’s Interested To Join MCU After Saying ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ Beats Every Marvel Movie

Jamie Lee Curtis has “nothing against Marvel as an entity.” In fact, the 63-year-old actress expresses her intent on joining Marvel. When the world witnessed the brilliance of Everything Everywhere All at Once, the 2022 absurdist sci-fi comedy-drama film, all possible media alternatives to the concept of the multiverse seemed dull.

When the audience compared it to the likes of Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, a distinct winner of the science-fiction trope was subconsciously or consciously chosen in their minds. To some, it is no surprise that Everywhere All at Once received a much better reception and appreciation over the new installment of the Doctor Strange movie.

The actress who plays the role of an IRS inspector Deirdre Beaubeirdra, earlier this year, joked in an Instagram post dated May 6th about how Everything Everywhere All at Once outshines most Marvel movies ever when it comes to the “brilliant visual treats, extraordinary performances, and fantastic beastly fight scenes,”

This post momentarily ignited an internet feud between the enjoyers of the comedy-drama and Marvel fans. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Curtis cleared the tension by stating how she has “nothing against” Marvel.

Although unsure whether Marvel would offer her a role in the vast expanse of their cinematic universe; upon being asked whether the actress would ever work with the acclaimed franchise, she stated she would never pass on an offer. This is what she had to say on the matter:

”I’m a collaborating artist. I work with a lot of people on a lot of different things, and if the role was interesting and if I could bring what I do to it, of course, I would [work with them.]”

Perhaps it is time the internet, too, puts this feud to rest.
